Flowering shrubs and evergreen bushes both have their place in landscaping. Many flowering shrubs attract birds with their berries and provide both fall foliage and winter interest. Evergreen bushes can be pruned into hedges or can function as privacy screens. Either flowering shrubs or evergreen bushes can stand alone as specimens used for focal points.
Raphiolepis indica 'Snow White' is a somewhat spreading shrub and will put on a show in early spring with clusters of white flowers. Snow White Hawthorn has vigorous growth with good branching to create a more uniform shrub than other Hawthorn cultivars. New growth is red, maturing into a dark green color.
